Medtech College Chooses tw telecom to Connect Ten Campus Locations in 5 States and D.C.

tw telecom, a provider of managed services, including Business Ethernet, converged and IP VPN solutions for enterprises in Georgia, throughout the U.S. and globally, announced that healthcare education provider Medtech College has selected the company to provide converged voice, data and Internet services to its 10 campuses located in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

This agreement expands the services that tw telecom is currently providing to Medtech, the Company said.

Partnering with Clover Communications Management, a full service telecommunications agency, we evaluated a number of providers and tw telecom's highly reliable services, combined with its customer-focused mindset, best met our needs."

As part of the multi-year agreement, tw telecom designed an IP VPN network that enables all 10 Medtech campuses to communicate with each other over a secure private network. tw telecom also created a Dedicated Business Ethernet connection between Medtech's full-service, Tier IV-compliant data center hosted by Data Cave in Columbus, Ind., and its backup facility in Georgia.
