COLONIE -- The eviction trial of a woman who lives next to the Rapp Road landfill is off -- at least for now.

But whether the city of Albany, her landlord, will let her remain in her home in the Fox Run Estates mobile home park is far from certain.

A procedural problem involving Paula Spratt's request for a jury scuttled the 57-year-old massage therapist's plans to take her case before a jury Monday night.

What's more, according to her lawyer, Spratt has tentatively resolved at least one of the city's grievances against her.
