TROY -- Cobleskill-Richmondville lost at its own game -- defense.

Unbeaten Westhill of Section III (Syracuse area) played a strong all-around game -- including a big defensive effort -- to end Cobleskill-Richmondville's season with a 66-40 victory in the state Class B regional boys' semifinals Friday night at Hudson Valley Community College.

Westhill (25-0), the defending Class B state champion, will meet Saranac Lake in the regional final today at 5 p.m. at Hudson Valley. Cobleskill-Richmondville closed at 21-4.
